Rock Buns




200 g self-raising flour
Pinch of salt
100 g margarine
100 g sugar
75 g currants
25 g mixed peel
1 egg
Milk to mix

Mix flour and salt, rub in margarine.       

Stir in the sugar, currant and peel.

Mix to a stiff dough with the egg and milk.

Place in rough heaps on a greased baking trays.


Bake in a moderately oven 200c/400f/gas 6 for 15-20 minutes.
